Is my donation tax-deductible?

Our PTO is recognized by the IRS as a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization, donations are generally tax-deductible to the extent allowed by law. New York State follows federal rules for charitable contributions. We recommend keeping your donation receipt and consulting a tax professional with any questions about your specific tax situation.

Where does my donation go?

Every dollar donated directly supports our students, teachers, and school community. PTO funds are used for programs and initiatives such as classroom resources, teacher appreciation, educational enrichment, family events, student activities, playground or school improvements, and other projects approved by the PTO. As a New York nonprofit organization, PTO funds must be used to further the organization's charitable and educational mission and cannot be used for personal benefit.

Can I volunteer or get more involved?

Absolutely! Parents, guardians, grandparents, family members, and community supporters are encouraged to get involved. Click the “Volunteer” tab to learn more.
